DAY 2 Eat Food and Get Fit Challenge-Drink More Water

Welcome to Day 2 of the Eat Food and Get Fit Challenge.

For today’s Nutrition Challenge we are going to Drink More Water.

The benefits of drinking water are underrated. Especially when looking at the benefits overlooked for weight loss.

I personally found that not only am I more energized when I maintain adequate water intake, but I feel less bloated, with better food digestion.

My skin and hair stay moisturized, and I just feel better.

Drinking more water:

  • Helps remove waste
  • Helps decrease overall liquid calorie intake
  • Increases satiation
  • May help increase metabolism
  • Maximizes exercise performance
  • Assists the body in maintaining blood pressure

Just to list a few things.

Water Intake Recommendations:

The recommended water intake adults varies depending on the organization.

Intake ranges are go from 5 to 15 and a half cups between men and women.

If you’re unsure, keep a solid water thermos that can hold up anywhere from 22 to 64 gallons. Always keep it with you. Rely mostly on water for your beverage needs. Don’t leave it anywhere because they’re expensive. Lol.

Another tip is to drink water before and after your meals to help keep you satiated.

Last but not least, eat water dense fruits and veggies to stay hydrated as well as maintaining water intake.
