For this Beginners Total Body Workout expect to sweat and burn calories from fat, while also building lean muscle and increase your endurance. This workout is all bodyweight, so you don’t need any equipment for this workout. This is a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Workout. Above all, I do the whole workout with you! Find a nice space at home or in the gym, get a mat, wear comfortable shoes and clothes that can breathe, and go to work.
First thing to remember, we’re all at different fitness levels, different mindsets, and with different goals, so with that being said be kind to yourself and take it one step at a time. Know that you’re only in competition with yourself. Your goal is to be better than the person you were yesterday.
From time to time, we put too much pressure on ourselves and then we start to lose motivation and forget to put some enjoyment in our workouts.
Above all, I encourage you to do this workout more than once so you can see your progress. See yourself doing more reps and getting better at each exercise.
As for me, I try to focus on my “why” and not on trying to be or do everything perfect.
Format:
Create your own sequence. I suggest performing each exercise for 30 seconds and resting for up to 30 seconds at the end of each round. For best results, follow along with my timer and me, in this workout.
